After realizating the global cigarette butts littering issue, We had decided to organize a small half-day event, in just few hours, it was 3000 cigarette butts collected by only 12 people.

Witnessing the participant’s satisfaction who contributed to a good cause, as well as, the curiosity, empathy and encouragement of citizens who saw them collecting from the streets, it was obvious that something bigger had to be done.

From this was born the No Mégot association, a swiss-based citizen driven movement with the objective of raising awarness while motivating people to contribute to the issue of cigarette butts littering.
